Part of Your World

Abby Jimenez knocked it out of the park with this one! I loved following the small-town/big-city love story of Alexis and Daniel. 

Alexis is an ER doctor from a renowned family of medical superstars. She is just getting out of a toxic long-term relationship. Daniel runs a BnB and is the mayor of a small town. He also does beautiful woodworking in his free time. When Alexis has car troubles in Daniel's small town, Daniel and Alexis meet and start a fling that soon turns into more. But can they merge their two very different worlds?

This love story gave me all the feels. Both characters have a lot of trauma and self-work to do, but are also able to be what the other needs through that process. They have amazing chemistry and are just so kind to each other. 

The side characters in Daniel's life provide a wonderful background to their love story, but the majority of Alexis's people annoyed or angered me. And the goat...I mean you can't get much cuter than a baby goat.
